It’s that time of year again! Get on down to The Ruck Monday, January 22nd as we are happy to have one of the very first Troegs Nugget Nectar batches of the year!

We were lucky enough to snatch up one of the very first batches Nugget Nectar … and we are excited to enjoy it with owner , Chris Troegner! He’ll be coming down to The Ruck for the evening so let’s show him a good time.

We’ve got quite the lineup with a variety of Nugget Nectar PLUS Sunshine Pils on our LUKR tap!

We’ve got a pin cask of Nugget Nectar that we’ll be tapping first.

Then we’ve got it on draft along with Double Nugget.

Nugget Nectar - Imperial Amber Ale
”It’s impossible to forget your first squeeze. Once a year, as the newest humulus lupulus harvest arrives at Tröegs, we blend these super-fresh hops into an Imperial Amber Ale. Excessively dry-hopped, Nugget Nectar is an explosion of pine, resin and mango.”

Double Nugget - Double Imperial Amber Ale
”To start, we boosted the Simcoe, and this complex hop’s notes of apricot, peach rings and bright citrus are the star of the show. Azacca enters the picture to add hints of juicy orchard fruit, and Munich malt brings a bready sweetness. To strike a balancing note, Columbus joins Nugget hops, grounding this limited release with a layer of dank pine.”
